Setting Up Your Profile

Your profile contains your personal information and account settings. Keeping your profile up to date helps ensure smooth communication about your bookings and a better overall experience with the app.

Accessing Your Profile

To view and edit your profile:

  1. Open the MyPerfectStay app.

  2. Tap the Profile tab at the bottom right of the screen.

  3. If you are not already signed in, you will see options to sign in or create an account. Once signed in, you will see your profile overview with various settings options.

Editing Your Personal Information

To update your name, email, or phone number:

  1. From your Profile screen, tap on your name or profile area at the top of the screen.

  2. This opens the User Info screen where you can edit:

  • Full Name - The name that appears on your bookings and vouchers. Make sure this matches your official identification if you plan to use the vouchers for activities that require ID verification.

  • Email Address - The email where you receive booking confirmations, vouchers, and important updates about your activities.

  • Phone Number - Optional, but useful if tour operators need to contact you about your booking, such as for pickup arrangements.

  1. After making your changes, tap the Save button to update your profile.

Profile Settings Overview

From your Profile screen, you have access to several settings and features:

Collections

Tap on Collections to see all the activities you have saved by tapping the heart icon. Your collections help you keep track of activities you want to book later. You can organize activities into different collections to keep things tidy.

Payments

Tap on Payments to manage your saved payment methods. Here you can add new credit or debit cards, remove cards you no longer use, and see which card will be used as your default payment method.

Currency

Tap on Currency to change the currency used to display prices throughout the app. Select your preferred currency from the list, and all activity prices will be shown in that currency. Note that payments are processed in the original currency of the activity, but this setting helps you understand prices in a currency you are familiar with.

Appearance

Tap on Appearance to choose how the app looks:

  • System - The app will automatically switch between light and dark mode based on your device settings.

  • Light - The app will always use a light color theme with a white background.

  • Dark - The app will always use a dark color theme with a dark background, which can be easier on your eyes in low-light conditions.

Notification Settings

Tap on Notification Settings to control what notifications you receive from the app. You can enable or disable notifications for booking reminders, promotional offers, and other updates.

Contact Us

Tap on Contact Us to send us an email. This opens your email app with our support address (info@cloudcops.de) pre-filled, making it easy to reach out if you have questions or need assistance.

Report a Bug

If you encounter any issues or unexpected behavior in the app, tap Report a Bug to let us know. This helps us improve the app for everyone.

Signing Out

If you need to sign out of your account:

  1. Scroll down to the bottom of your Profile screen.

  2. Tap the Logout button.

  3. You will be signed out of your account.

After signing out, you can still browse activities, but you will need to sign in again to access your saved favorites, bookings, and other account features.
