After completing your booking in MyPerfectStay, you receive a voucher that serves as your ticket to the activity. This guide explains how to access your voucher and what information it contains.

What is a Booking Voucher?

Your booking voucher is the official confirmation document for your activity. It contains all the essential information needed to participate in your booked experience, including your booking reference number, activity details, and any QR codes or barcodes that may be scanned upon arrival. Think of it as your digital ticket. You will present this voucher to the activity provider or guide when you arrive at the meeting point to confirm your reservation.

Accessing Your Voucher in the App

The easiest way to access your voucher is directly through the MyPerfectStay app. Here is how to find it:

  1. Open the app and tap the Bookings tab at the bottom of the screen
  2. Find and tap on the booking you want to view
  3. On the booking details screen, look for the View Voucher button
  4. Tap the button to open your voucher

The voucher opens in a full-screen view within the app. The screen shows "Voucher" as the title with an X button in the corner to close it when you are done.

What is Displayed on Your Voucher

Vouchers are provided directly by the activity operators and typically include the following information:

  • Booking Reference Number - A unique code that identifies your specific booking. This is important for the activity provider to locate your reservation in their system. Write this down as a backup.
  • Activity Name - The title of the experience you booked, so there is no confusion about which activity you are attending.
  • Date and Time - The scheduled date and start time for your activity. Make sure to arrive before this time.
  • Number of Travelers - How many people are included in your booking, often broken down by traveler type (adults, children, etc.).
  • Meeting Point Information - Details about where to meet for the activity, which may include an address, landmark, or specific instructions.
  • QR Code or Barcode - Many vouchers include a scannable code that the activity provider uses to verify your booking quickly.
  • Operator Contact Information - Contact details for the activity provider in case you need to reach them.
  • Important Notes - Any special instructions, what to bring, what to wear, or other preparation information.

Confirmation Email

In addition to the in-app voucher, you also receive a confirmation email after completing your booking. This email is sent to the address you provided during checkout and serves as a backup copy of your booking confirmation. If you do not see the confirmation email in your inbox, check your spam or junk folder. The email comes from MyPerfectStay or the activity provider and contains your booking details and voucher information.

Using Your Voucher on the Day

When you arrive at your activity, you will need to present your voucher to the activity provider or guide. Here is how that typically works:

  • Showing the Digital Voucher - The most convenient method is to show the voucher directly from the MyPerfectStay app on your phone. Simply open the voucher screen and show it to the guide or staff member. They may scan the QR code or simply verify the booking reference number.
  • Offline Access - If you are concerned about internet connectivity at the activity location, take a screenshot of your voucher while you have internet access. This ensures you have the information available even without a connection.
  • Printed Voucher - Some activities require a printed voucher. This requirement is usually noted in the activity description or booking confirmation. If a printed voucher is needed, you can print it from your confirmation email.

Mobile vs Printed Voucher Requirements

Most modern activities accept mobile vouchers shown on your phone. However, some activities still require a printed paper voucher. This is typically the case for:

  • Activities at venues with strict entry requirements
  • Tours in areas with limited internet connectivity
  • Group activities where physical tickets need to be distributed

The activity details page and your confirmation will specify if a printed voucher is required. If it is not explicitly mentioned, a mobile voucher is usually acceptable.

Voucher Tips for a Smooth Experience

  • Save for Offline Access - Download or screenshot your voucher before traveling to your activity location, especially if you are going somewhere with unreliable internet.
  • Increase Screen Brightness - When showing your voucher to be scanned, increase your screen brightness to make the QR code easier to read.
  • Arrive Early - Plan to arrive at the meeting point 10-15 minutes before the scheduled start time. This gives you time to find the exact location and check in without rushing.
  • Bring Identification - Some activities require you to show ID that matches the name on the booking. Check your voucher or activity details for any ID requirements.
  • Keep Your Phone Charged - Ensure your phone has enough battery to display the voucher when needed. Consider bringing a portable charger for long days.

If You Cannot Find Your Voucher

If you are having trouble accessing your voucher, try these steps:

  1. Check the Bookings Tab - Make sure you are logged into the same account you used to make the booking, then look in the Bookings tab for your reservation.
  2. Check Your Email - Search your email (including spam folder) for the confirmation email with your voucher attached or linked.
  3. Refresh the App - Pull down on the Bookings screen to refresh and sync the latest booking information.
  4. Contact Support - If you still cannot find your voucher, contact us at info@cloudcops.de with your booking reference number or the email address used for booking, and we will help you retrieve it.

Vouchers for Group Bookings

If you booked for multiple travelers, your voucher covers all travelers in that booking. You do not need separate vouchers for each person. The voucher shows the total number of travelers and may include individual tickets or a single QR code for the entire group.
