Using Filters

When browsing through hundreds of activities, filters help you quickly narrow down your options to find exactly what fits your preferences, schedule, and budget. The MyPerfectStay app offers a comprehensive set of filters that let you customize your search results with just a few taps.

Accessing Filters

You can access the filters screen in two ways:

1. After performing a search, tap the Filter button near the top of the results screen

2. When browsing activities in a destination, look for the filter icon to refine your results

The filter screen displays all available options organized into clear sections. At the top of the screen, you will see a Reset button to clear all filters at once, and an X button to close filters without applying changes.

Categories

Filter activities by type to find exactly the kind of experience you are looking for. Categories are loaded dynamically based on what is available in your selected destination, so you will always see relevant options. Common categories include:

• Tours and Sightseeing — Guided tours, city walks, and sightseeing experiences

• Food and Drink — Cooking classes, food tours, wine tastings, and culinary experiences

• Adventure and Outdoor — Hiking, water sports, and outdoor adventures

• Cultural Experiences — Museums, historical sites, and cultural immersion activities

• Classes and Workshops — Hands-on learning experiences

• Entertainment — Shows, performances, and nightlife experiences

You can select multiple categories at once. When you select a category, a badge appears showing how many filters you have chosen in that section. Categories with zero available activities in your current search are shown at the end of the list so you can focus on options that have matching results.

Price Range

Set your budget by adjusting the price filter. You have two ways to set your price range:

Using the Slider: Drag the two handles on the price slider to set your minimum and maximum price. The slider shows prices in Euros (€).

Using Text Inputs: For precise control, you can type exact amounts in the "Min. price" and "Max. price" fields. This is helpful when you have a specific budget in mind.

If you only set a maximum price, you will see all activities up to that price. If you only set a minimum, you will see premium experiences above that threshold. Setting both creates a specific price window.

Rating

Filter activities based on traveler ratings to find highly-reviewed experiences. Tap one of the rating options to set a minimum rating threshold:

• 3+ — Shows all activities rated 3 stars and above

• 3.5+ — Shows activities rated 3.5 stars and above

• 4+ — Shows well-rated activities (4 stars and above)

• 4.5+ — Shows highly-rated activities only

• 5 — Shows only perfect 5-star rated activities

Tap a selected rating option again to deselect it and remove the rating filter.

Your Selected Filters

At the top of the filter screen, you will see a summary of all your currently selected filters. This makes it easy to review what filters are active and quickly remove individual filters by tapping the X on any selected filter chip. You can also remove specific filters like rating or price from this section without scrolling through all options.

Applying and Clearing Filters

When you have set your desired filters, tap the Show Results button at the bottom of the screen. The app will apply all your filters and display matching activities.

To start fresh, tap the Reset link at the top right corner of the filter screen. This clears all selected categories, resets the price range, and removes any rating filter—giving you a clean slate to start filtering again.

Tips for Using Filters

Combine Filters for Best Results: Use multiple filters together for more targeted results. For example, selecting "Food and Drink" category with a "4+" rating and a maximum price of €50 will show you affordable, well-reviewed culinary experiences.

Check Activity Counts: When browsing a specific destination, each filter option shows how many activities match. This helps you avoid selecting filters that would return zero results.

Adjust as Needed: If your filters return too few results, try relaxing some criteria. Remove the rating filter or expand your price range to see more options.
