How to Book an Activity
A complete step-by-step guide to booking activities, from selecting dates to completing checkout.

Booking an activity on MyPerfectStay is a straightforward process. This guide walks you through each step, from finding an activity to receiving your confirmation voucher.
Step 1: Find Your Activity
Start by browsing or searching for an activity you want to book. You can:
- Search by destination, activity type, or specific keywords
- Browse popular activities in your chosen city
- Filter results by category, price, or rating
When you find something interesting, tap on the activity card to view its full details. Take time to read the description, check what is included, review the cancellation policy, and browse traveler reviews.
Step 2: Check Availability
From the activity details page, tap the Check Availability button at the bottom of the screen. This opens the availability screen where you can select your booking details.
Select a Date
Use the date picker to choose when you want to do the activity. The calendar shows which dates have availability. You will also see a "Next available dates" section showing upcoming dates with open spots.
Choose Number of Travelers
Select how many people will be joining. Depending on the activity, you may need to specify:
- Adults β Travelers above a certain age
- Children β Younger travelers (age range varies by activity)
- Infants β Very young children (some activities offer free spots for infants)
Each age group may have different pricing, and some activities have minimum or maximum group sizes.
Step 3: Choose Your Option
Many activities offer multiple optionsβfor example, a private tour versus a shared group tour, different start times, or various tour lengths. After selecting your date and travelers, you will see available options with:
- Option title and description
- Available time slots β Tap to select your preferred start time
- Price β Total price for your group
- Language guide β If the activity offers guides in multiple languages, select your preference
Options that are sold out or unavailable for your selected date and group size will be shown but cannot be selected.
Step 4: Add to Cart
Once you have selected your date, travelers, option, and time slot, tap Add to Cart. The activity is added to your cart and a hold is placed on your selected time slot.
After adding to cart, you will be taken to provide traveler details and answer any booking questions required by the activity provider.
Step 5: Provide Traveler Details
Most activities require information about the travelers. You may need to provide:
- Names of all travelers
- Contact information (phone number, email)
- Hotel or pickup location if the activity includes pickup
- Special requirements or dietary restrictions
- Answers to specific questions from the tour operator
Fill in all required fields carefully, as this information is used for your voucher and helps the tour operator prepare for your experience.
Step 6: Review Your Cart
Go to the Cart tab to review your booking before checkout. Here you can:
- See all activities you have added
- View the total price
- Edit or remove activities
- Check that traveler details are complete (indicated by a checkmark)
At the top of the cart, you will see a hold timer showing how long your selected time slots are reserved. Complete checkout before the timer expires to secure your booking.
Step 7: Complete Checkout
When ready, tap Checkout to proceed with payment. On the checkout screen you will:
- Review your booking summary
- Enter or select a payment method
- Review the total amount including any fees
- Accept the terms and conditions
- Tap Confirm and Pay to complete your booking
Step 8: Receive Confirmation
After successful payment, you will see a confirmation screen with your booking details. You will also receive:
- A confirmation email with booking details
- Your voucher, accessible in the Bookings tab
The voucher contains all the information you need for your activity, including meeting point, time, and any instructions from the operator.
Important Tips
Hold Time: When you add an activity to your cart, your selected time slot is temporarily held. The hold timer shows how much time you have to complete checkout. If the timer expires, you may need to reselect your time slot and availability may have changed.
Complete Details: You cannot proceed to checkout until all required traveler details are provided. Look for the checkmark on each cart item indicating details are complete.
Popular Times Sell Out: Book early for popular activities, especially during peak travel seasons. Morning time slots and weekend dates tend to fill up fastest.
