Navigating the App
MyPerfectStay is designed to make discovering and booking travel activities simple and intuitive. This guide will help you understand how the app is organized so you can quickly find what you are looking for.
The Bottom Navigation Bar
At the bottom of your screen, you will see five tabs that let you access the main sections of the app. Tapping on any of these tabs will take you to that section.
Explore Tab
The Explore tab is your starting point for discovering new activities and experiences. When you open the app, this is the first screen you will see.
On the Explore screen, you will find:
- Search Bar - At the top of the screen, you can tap the search bar to search for activities by typing a destination name, activity type, or keyword. For example, you could search for "Rome food tours" or "snorkeling".
- Popular Destinations - Scroll through cards showing popular travel destinations. Tap on any destination to see all activities available there.
- Activity Categories - Browse activities by type, such as tours, adventures, food and drink, cultural experiences, and more.
- Recommended Activities - See curated lists of activities based on different destinations and categories.
Plans Tab
The Plans tab is where you can create and manage your trip itineraries. This is a powerful feature that helps you organize activities for your upcoming trips.
In the Plans section, you can:
- Create a New Travel Plan - Start planning a new trip by setting your destination, travel dates, and who is traveling with you.
- View Your Existing Plans - See all the travel plans you have created, including both upcoming trips and past ones.
- Start Group Voting - If you are traveling with others, you can create a voting room to let everyone vote on which activities they want to do.
Note: You will see a small orange dot on the Plans tab if you have any active voting sessions in progress.
Cart Tab
The Cart tab shows the activities you have added to your cart and are ready to book. Think of it like a shopping cart where you can review everything before completing your purchase.
In your cart, you will see:
- Activity Details - The name, date, time, and options you selected for each activity.
- Pricing - The cost for each activity and the total amount for all items.
- Hold Timer - A countdown showing how long your spot is reserved (usually 15 minutes). This ensures the time slot and price remain available while you complete your booking.
- Checkout Button - When you are ready, tap the checkout button to complete your booking.
Note: You will see a small orange dot on the Cart tab if you have items in your cart with an active hold.
Bookings Tab
The Bookings tab is where you can see all the activities you have booked. This is your central place for managing your confirmed reservations.
In the Bookings section, you will find:
- Upcoming Bookings - Activities that are scheduled for future dates, with countdown timers showing how many days until each activity.
- Past Bookings - A history of activities you have already completed.
- Booking Details - Tap on any booking to see the full details, including your confirmation number, voucher, meeting point information, and more.
Profile Tab
The Profile tab is where you can access your account settings and personal information.
In your Profile, you can:
- View and Edit Your Account - Update your name, email, and other personal information.
- Collections - Access your saved favorite activities, organized into collections.
- Payment Methods - Manage your saved credit cards and other payment options.
- Currency - Choose your preferred currency for viewing prices.
- Appearance - Switch between light mode, dark mode, or automatic based on your device settings.
- Notification Settings - Control what notifications you receive from the app.
- Contact Us - Reach out to our support team if you need help.
- Report a Bug - Let us know if you encounter any issues with the app.
Note: You will see a small red dot on the Profile tab if you have unread notifications.
Additional Tips
Saving Activities for Later - When you find an activity you like, tap the heart icon to save it to your collections. You can access your saved activities anytime from the Collections section in your Profile.
Getting Notifications - The app will send you important notifications about your bookings, such as reminders before your activity starts. Make sure notifications are enabled in your device settings to stay informed.
